19th Century Floral Mezzotint in original gilt frame french milking stool Thank you for visiting ReclecticAn exquisite late 19th century floral mezzotint with an original early 1900s gilt frame. It is behind glass and is in beautiful condition with the flowers and colours still vibrant and striking. Mezzotints were very popular up until the 19th century a print made from an engraved copper or steel plate, the surface was then scraped and polished to give areas of shade and light. It is signed.
