In the early '90s, a few bulbs found their way into Texas, where bulb guru Scott Ogden was able to acquire one. H. eucharidifolia has prospered in his Austin, Texas, garden since that time. The broad basal leaves resemble a clintonia or eucharis. In midsummer, the easy to grow, fast multiplying clumps are topped with 1' tall
